Tracheotomy

We offer tracheotomy care to residents and patients with severe lung disorders, neurological problems or infections, who are dependent on a surgically inserted tube (trach) for breathing. In addition to continuous nursing, we perform daily trach maintenance in order to minimize complications, maintain stability, and return the individual to his or her highest level of functionality or independence.

Therapy

In order to get patients back on their feet and back home in a timely and safe manner, we have the capability of providing physical, occupational and speech therapies as often as the patient’s physician recommends it – up to seven days a week, for up to three hours a day. Our advanced therapeutic modalities address a wide range of orthopedic, neurological and other disabilities, diseases and conditions, including: Joint replacement, Neuro-Muscular disease, Cardiac Conditions, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, CVA, Dysphagia, Fractures, Post-Surgical Complications, Amputation

Dialysis

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) residents may be able to receive onsite dialysis rather than traveling to a center for treatment. Onsite dialysis here at SARR may help reduce stress associated with being transported to care and create the potential for better-coordinated care between the SNF, nephrologist and Dialysis care team. All of this may ultimately lead to a better quality of life for the patient. Onsite dialysis may help give you peace of mind that will deliver the same safe, high quality therapy as it provides in the outpatient dialysis center.

Wound

From initial wound diagnosis through resolution, SARR provides unparalleled integrated wound management throughout the continuum of care by our Wound Care Specialist. Our specialist is trained extensively to provide the highest level of care across all care settings, resulting in quality wound care consistency, increased patient satisfaction, reduced hospital readmissions, and minimized costs to the facility. Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing is at the core of all we do at San Antonios Residence. Our nurses are experienced and highly trained in a broad range of disciplines. Their confidence and warmth help residents feel better, function more independently, and manage chronic conditions.

Hospice

San Antonios Residence welcomes residents that require 24-hour nursing availability and/or assistance with meals, medications or other activities of daily living. We provide a home-like environment in which residents live as part of normalcy in everyday living is key to the happiness of our long-term residents.

Respite Care

Caregivers that care for loved ones in their own homes often need time off to recharge for the demanding role they have taken on. San Antonios Residence can help by providing an inviting short-term solution. Our respite care guests receive a warm welcome when they come to us, and have access to all the services and amenities that our longterm care residents receive.

Heritage Memory Care

Unique in its scope and success, our Heritage Memory Care unit is for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The program encourages participation in activities tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences, reinforcing their capabilities and encouraging their independence.

All our spacious rooms are inviting, cheerful, and comfortable. We encourage our residents to personalize their room with their own belongings, and we offer assistance in setting up the room in a way that makes them feel most at home.
